    Supply Chain Account Manager 

     

    PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for the development and performance of World Class Supplier Networks through effective metrics management. Partner with internal Client Services to drive network utilization and customer satisfaction in support of company goals and department strategies.  For Supplier Account Management Role, directly responsible for selection and management of client directed providers.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Perform market analysis and new supplier research.  Assist with the selection, management and alignment of Suppliers.  Recommend recognition, probation, and supplier termination when necessary.  Partner with appropriate internal resources to ensure effective start up for new suppliers.  Participate in client presentations as requested.  Respond as appropriate to all Account Management and Sales requests, including RFP's, preparation of client ready and marketing materials.  Coordination of risk and opportunity assessments for all Suppliers Develop and conduct Supplier assessments.  In conjunction with Director, work to continuously develop and maintain an overall supplier strategy.  Conduct research, analysis and development / implementation of other projects as assigned    Act as Subject Matter Expert of Supplier product within Cartus.   Develop and conduct all Supplier internal / external training and education.  Assist in contract negotiations with new and existing suppliers.  Responsible for Supplier Network performance and adherence to policies and procedures through metrics management, consultative interactions and creative problem solving.

    Manage monthly dashboard calls with client specific suppliers in all regions, proactively coordinate issue escalation and resolution management between operations team, account management and client contacts.  Work proactively to identify areas for improvement and change.   Assist Account Management with client specific projects as requested.  Interact directly with regional client contacts to provide supplier and program updates and recommendations.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    Minimum 5 years business experience in relocation

    Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

    Prior supplier / vendor management experience preferred

    Demonstrated success in a matrix management role is required

    Ability / flexibility to travel

    Demonstrated presentation skills and strong communication skills required

    Basic financial management skills

    Client relationship and network management skills required
