    Synergy Global Housing is looking for a full-time Business Development Manager in San Francisco, CA.

    We provide corporate housing and serviced apartments to business travelers around the world. Basically we open the world and bring “home” to corporate travelers – no matter where business takes them.

    In an effort to succeed with this mission, Synergy is looking for a Business Development Manager to help create and foster relationships with potential clients, while maintaining, servicing and developing additional business from existing partners.

    As a Business Development Manager, a typical day might include the following:

    • ·        Prospecting for potential sales leads through research
    • ·        Connecting strategically with prospective clients over the phone, through email and in-person
    • ·        Conducting consultative meetings with existing clients to determine future needs
    • ·        Using Salesforce and other CRMs to accurately track and mature leads
    • ·        Attending industry events to help spread the good word about Synergy

    • ·        Excel at developing and maintaining relationships with a variety of business contacts, primary decision makers at large organizations
    • ·        Find it easy to influence or motivate people with your persuasive verbal and written communication skills
    • ·        Routinely achieve or exceed sales objectives set by the company or (more importantly) yourself
    • ·        Prefer a consultative sales approach where you help meet the needs of the client to find the ideal solution
    • ·        Genuinely carry yourself with a positive attitude toward all activities – whether they’re personal or professional
    • ·        Hate the status quo

    To succeed in this role, you need to have experience with direct sales, with bonus points awarded if you have experience selling services. A background selling in the Hospitality, Extended Stay/Hotel or Corporate Housing Industries is also very attractive. Experience gaining and developing relationships with large clients, especially executive level prospecting, is also needed. Familiarity with tele-sales is a plus. A college degree in Business Marketing/Sale and a proven competency with most Microsoft Office programs would also impress us.

    This isn’t some routine cubicle job, so you must have the ability to travel locally, regionally or even nationally if the situation requires. For this reason, we need you to have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
